Website Redesign.

Do you have a website that can no longer keep up? It loads slowly, falls apart on mobile or runs on a drag-and-drop template like Elementor or Divi that has been holding it back for years. At that point most agencies will offer you a brand-new website from scratch - and the search rankings you have built up over the years go with it. We do not throw them away: we rebuild your website into a clean, fast one, migrate all the content, set up 301 redirects from the old URLs to the new ones and preserve your SEO. The result is a modern website that keeps both its rankings and your customers - with no drop in traffic and no starting from scratch.

When to go for a redesign (and when a new website is better)

A redesign is aimed at the situation where you already have a website and want to take it further without losing your content and search rankings. If you do not have a website yet, custom web development is a better fit. And we will not try to talk you into a redesign you do not need - but if you recognize yourself in any of these points, it is the right move.

Your website runs on a page builder and is slow.

Elementor, Divi or WPBakery have piled extra code onto the page. It loads slowly, jumps around on mobile, Core Web Vitals show red - and Google factors that into your rankings, as well as into how many people leave before the page even appears.

You want a website that is truly yours.

On Wix or Shoptet you pay monthly, yet the website is not really yours and moving away is not easy. We move you to your own clean theme that you fully control, with no loss of content or rankings. And if your website runs on WordPress - whether on a clicked-together template or on WordPress.com - we convert it to a clean custom theme where you get the most out of WordPress.

The design has aged, but the SEO is holding.

You have spent years building rankings and backlinks and people find you in search. The website just looks dated now and does not sell as well as it could. A new website from scratch would put those rankings at risk - a redesign with the right 301 redirects preserves them and gives them a more modern wrapper.

What it includes

What a redesign covers - from audit to launch

Four phases that keep your rankings and speed up your website. We keep what works and fix what is holding it back.

01

Audit and analysis of the existing website

We go through speed and Core Web Vitals, the URL structure, the content and your search rankings. We find out what is holding the website back - whether it is a heavy template, unnecessary plugins or messy URLs - and map which pages bring traffic and need to be protected. The output is a clear plan and a fixed price before the first line of code.

02

Custom new design

We design a look that matches your brand, built for mobile and for helping visitors find their way to an enquiry or a purchase. No off-the-shelf template that your competitors use too. We review the design together and fine-tune the details - we only start coding once you have approved it, with no surprises halfway through the project.

03

Migration with no loss of content or SEO

This is where redesigns go wrong most often - which is why we are most careful here. We migrate the text, images and products, set up 301 redirects from every old URL to the new one and keep the site structure so that Google does not lose track. As a result your search rankings and backlinks stay where they belong.

Launch and training

We launch the website only after thorough testing on both mobile and desktop, hand over all the access credentials and show you how to edit the content yourself - without having to call a developer over every little thing. The content and the credentials are yours, and we stay available if you need help later on.

How working with us works

Transparently, with a fixed price agreed up front and no surprises. At every step you know what is happening, why, and when it is your turn.

  1. 01

    A no-obligation first contact

You send us a link to your website and a few sentences about what bothers you and what it runs on (Elementor, Divi, Wix or something else). We get back to you within one business day, go through your goals and share an honest first impression. None of this commits you to anything yet.

  2. 02

    Audit and fixed quote

We go through your website in depth - speed, structure, content and rankings - and propose the scope of the redesign. You get a fixed price, a timeframe and an honest recommendation, including if a new website would pay off better than a redesign. You know the price before the first line of code.

  3. 03

    Design and approval

We prepare a custom design and review it together. Your feedback is welcome - we fine-tune the details until they are right. We only start coding once you have approved the design, so nothing happens behind your back and you always know where the project stands.

  4. 04

    Development, launch and handover

We build the website, migrate the content and set up the redirects. After testing we launch it with minimal downtime, hand over the access credentials and train you in managing it. If you like, we stay close by for further changes and long-term support.

Principles

What we insist on in every redesign

  1. 01

    Audit first, rebuild second

We do not rebuild blindly. First we measure speed, map the structure, the content and the rankings - and only then do we build. That way you know in advance what will change, how much it will cost and what will be preserved. And if the audit shows that a redesign is not enough and a new website makes more sense, we will say so straight - even if it means a smaller job for us.

  2. 02

    Your SEO deserves to stay

Search rankings are an asset you have built up over years - they are yours, not ours. That is why we handle 301 redirects, the URL structure and internal linking so that you do not lose traffic during the switch. A redesign should keep your rankings, not reset them to zero.

  3. 03

From drag-and-drop templates to clean code

We move you off a page builder like Elementor or Divi to a clean, fast theme with no bloated code. You feel the difference right away: better Core Web Vitals, faster loading, easier management and code that Google understands. We choose the technology based on what the project really needs - not on what we can click together fastest.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a website redesign?

A website redesign is the modernization of an existing site - a new look, faster and cleaner code and better usability - without starting from scratch. Unlike building a new website, it preserves your content and the search rankings you have built up. In practice it most often means moving from a slow template or page builder to a clean theme that will hold up for years.

Will I lose my search rankings during a redesign?

No, not if the redesign is done right. We keep the URL structure or set up 301 redirects from the old URLs to the new ones and migrate the content so that your search rankings stay in place. This is the most sensitive part of a redesign and the one we give the most attention to - minor fluctuations after the switch are normal, a lasting drop with a correctly set up migration is not.

Will my website be unavailable during the redesign?

No. We build and test the new website on a separate environment, so your current one keeps running and your customers notice nothing. We only switch it over once the new version is finished and tested - so any downtime is minimal, usually just a moment while the domain is connected.

Will you rebuild a website from Elementor, Divi or another page builder?

Yes, it is our everyday work. We move a website from Elementor, Divi or WPBakery to a clean WordPress theme with no bloated code. That makes it faster, simplifies its management and gets rid of the dead weight that was slowing down loading and hurting your Core Web Vitals.

Can a website on Wix, WordPress.com or Shoptet be redesigned?

Yes. We can migrate practically anything you can pull data out of - Wix, WordPress.com, Shoptet, as well as websites on page builders like Elementor or Divi. We move the content to your own theme that you fully control and set up redirects so your rankings do not suffer. The scope depends on what can be exported from the original platform - we assess it during the audit and give you honest advice.

What if I do not have the access credentials or exports from my old website?

We can usually manage anyway. We can take the content straight from the publicly available version of the website and help track down or restore any missing access credentials. During the audit we find out what we actually have to work with and propose the most sensible migration approach based on that.

How does a website redesign work step by step?

In four phases: audit and analysis of the existing website, a custom new design, content migration with 301 redirects set up, and finally launch with training. You know the fixed price and timeframe right after the audit, we only start coding once the design is approved, and throughout the whole project you know exactly where things stand.

How much does a website redesign cost?

The price always depends on scope. A redesign starts at roughly 900 € and you get an exact fixed quote only after an audit of your existing website - with no hidden costs and no line items that would surprise you on the invoice.

How long does a website redesign take?

Usually from three weeks. We agree the exact timeframe after the audit, based on the scope, the amount of content and the number of URLs that need to be redirected. A smaller brochure website tends to be faster, a larger e-shop with many products naturally takes longer.

Is a redesign worth it, or is a new website better?

It depends on the state of the website. If the content and structure are fine and only the look or speed are lagging behind, a redesign is enough and you keep your SEO. With an outdated or chaotic foundation, a new website is usually the wiser choice. After the audit we will honestly advise which path makes more sense for you - even if it means a smaller job for us.

Will I keep access and be able to manage the website myself?

Yes. After launch we hand over the website and all the access credentials and train you in managing the content, so you can handle everyday edits yourself and are not dependent on anyone. If you like, we can also look after the website long term as part of support and care.
